But here’s the catch:IR works on a line-of-sight basis. If you tuck the lamp behind a bulky cover or a deep ledge, you’re blocking the light. If the lamp can’t “see” that damp corner of the room, it can’t dry it. Keep the path clear to the spots that usually get the most mildew.
The practical side of things
The best part? You don’t need a massive, noisy ventilation fan taking up half your ceiling. You get a dry bathroom and an immediate sense of warmth. Just a heads-up on the electrical side: these lamps pull a decent amount of power, especially right when they kick on.
