First things first: your voltage has to match your oven’s power rail. We use 400V high-wattage tubes because they pack a massive punch without taking up a ton of space. The goal here is speed. We build these to handle heavy current loads so the filaments don’t just snap after a few weeks. You just pop them in, and they hit the target temperature in seconds. It’s that simple.
Why We Use Halogen and Quartz
We house the tungsten filament in heavy-wall quartz glass. But here’s the secret: we inject halogen gas inside. Without that gas, tungsten deposits build up on the glass, and your lamp starts to dim. The halogen keeps things clear and keeps the light strong for much longer. Depending on what you’re heating, we can add specialized coatings. These help the infrared heat soak deeper into thicker plastics. As for the connectors, we stick with R7s and Sk15. They’re the industry standard for a reason—they stay put. Even when your machine is shaking and running at full tilt, these won’t wiggle loose.

High-wattage lamps are beasts, but they can be hard on your sockets. If you’re upgrading to a higher wattage, do yourself a favor and check your wiring first.
