That&amp;rsquo;s rarely the problem.&#xA;The real culprit? The lead-wire connection.&#xA;When you hang these things in an industrial ceiling, they go through a brutal cycle of heating up and &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;cooling&lt;/a&gt; down, over and over. A lot of factories just slap these together on a cheap assembly line using basic glue or loose crimps. We see those fail almost immediately. The insulation cracks, the wires oxidize, and before you know it, you&amp;rsquo;ve got a short circuit on your hands.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The problem with &amp;ldquo;standard&amp;rdquo; sealing&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Most companies build for the lowest cost. They use cheap silicone or heat-shrink tubing that just can&amp;rsquo;t handle temperatures over 200°C. It&amp;rsquo;s a recipe for disaster.&#xA;We do things differently. We use a high-temp ceramic-to-metal seal or specialized epoxy resins. The trick is making sure the seal expands and contracts at the exact same rate as the quartz tube.&#xA;If they don&amp;rsquo;t move together, a tiny gap opens up. That&amp;rsquo;s when moisture sneaks in. Once that happens, the insulation starts to rot, you get carbon tracking, and eventually, you get a nasty arc-flash. Not exactly what you want happening on your ceiling.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Fighting the &amp;ldquo;Heat Soak&amp;rdquo;&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;High-wattage heaters create a massive amount of heat. But that heat doesn&amp;rsquo;t just push downward—it creeps backward toward the electrical terminals. We call this &amp;ldquo;heat soak,&amp;rdquo; and it basically cooks the wire insulation from the inside out.&#xA;To stop this, we use fiberglass-braided fluoropolymer wires. They&amp;rsquo;re tough. They can take a beating without melting. We also add a reinforced sealing boot to keep out the dust and humidity that always seem to find their way into industrial spaces.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;One quick heads-up&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;&lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;There&lt;/a&gt; is a trade-off here. Because our sealing is so much more robust, the lead-wire assembly is stiffer.&#xA;You can&amp;rsquo;t just bend these wires at sharp angles during installation. If you kink the sealed section, you might crack the seal, and then you&amp;rsquo;re right back where we started. Just keep an eye on the minimum bend radius in the tech sheet. Give the wires some breathing room, and they&amp;rsquo;ll last you a long time.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
