What’s Inside
Inside that tube, you’ve got a shortwave infrared halogen element, all housed in quartz. The halogen element is the star. It responds instantly and focuses its heat right where you need it, with almost no wasted energy. And the quartz body? It can handle the shock of turning on and off rapidly without cracking. Then there’s the R7s connector. We chose it on purpose. It’s a solid, two-contact connection that carries the high current without getting loose or sparking. It’s a straight drop-in replacement, so you can wire it up, walk away, and trust it.
